We wanted to update all of you regarding this unfortunate incident. First, I can assure you that we (Boston Pizza) have not deleted ANY of the comments on our wall. We are true believers in social media and want to hear from our Guests (good and bad). If a comment is ever removed it is due to it being of a vulgar or threatening nature to our guests or it was removed by the original person that posted the comment.
We have also reached out to the family today to offer our sincere apologies for what occurred last night. The owner of the restaurant (the franchisee) has also extended an apology, as well as an open invitation to the family to join him as his personal guests at a future visit. They have been to the restaurant many times in the past and he is committed to providing them all with a positive dining experience again in the future.
Finally, the franchisee is personally dealing with the staff members involved and due to privacy and labour rules we can’t provide further details. We hope you understand that Boston Pizza takes these matters seriously and we have done everything possible today to address these concerns both in the short term and going forward. Thank you.
