At Boston Pizza we take pride in our strong culture of giving back to the communities in which we live and operate. Although we would love to support everyone, due to the significant number of requests we receive Boston Pizza and the Boston Pizza Foundation are unable to participate in all sponsorship/charity opportunities. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to contact your local Boston Pizza restaurant for support.
How do I contact my local Boston Pizza restaurant for a donation, event or team sponsorship? All but three Boston Pizza restaurants in Canada are independently owned and operated so the final decision to make a donation is at the discretion of the store owner. How do I request a donation from the Boston Pizza Foundation for my not-for-profit event?
To be considered for a sponsorship opportunity your request must include:
- Primary contact name;
- Name of organization;
- Mailing address;
- Daytime telephone and fax numbers;
- Charitable Registration Number;
- A brief description of your group or organization including its purpose and the benefit your group or organization provides to its beneficiaries.
- Description on the specific event or program the donation is being requested for and;
- Event date and the number of expected attendees;
- Please specify what type of donation you are requesting from Boston Pizza i.e. financial donation, gift card, pizzas, prizing etc.;
- Description of how the funds raised at the event will be used;
- If the donation will be used at the event, include the expected number of attendees
How do I request sponsorship from Boston Pizza International for my organization or event?
- Simply fill out the sponsorship application form.
When should I submit my request for the Boston Pizza Foundation’s support?
Please allow at least eight weeks for all charitable requests.
What types of organizations are not supported by the Boston Pizza Foundation? Boston Pizza does not provide sponsorship for:
- Amateur Athletes;
- Religious groups;
- Political affiliates;
- Book endorsements;
- Underwriting films, television or video production;
- For-profit organizations.
What is the difference between a donation and a sponsorship?
• A donation is a monetary or in-kind contribution to a registered charity or not-for-profit organization.
• A sponsorship is a monetary or in-kind contribution to an organization or initiative that delivers a defined set of marketing benefits.
When was the Boston Pizza Foundation established?
In 1990, Boston Pizza International Inc. established the Boston Pizza Foundation.
How much has the Boston Pizza Foundation raised and donated to date?
To date the Boston Pizza Foundation has raised and donated over $10 million to charities across Canada and around the world.
